John 2

On the third day a wedding took place in Cana of Galilee. Jesus’s mother was there,
and Jesus and His disciples were invited to the wedding as well.
When the wine ran out, Jesus’ mother told Him, “They don’t have any wine”
“Woman, why do you involve me?” Jesus replied, “My hour has not yet come”
“Do whatever He tells you”His mother told the servants
Now six stone water jars had been set there for Jewish purification. Each contained 20 or 30 gallons.
Jesus said to the servants, “Fill the jars with water”; so they filled them to the brim
Then He told them “Now draw some out and take it to the master of the banquet” And they did
and the master of the banquet tasted the water that had been turned into wine. He did not realize where it had come from, though the servants who had drawn the water knew. Then he called the bridegroom aside
and said: “Everyone brings out the choice winde first and then the cheaper wine after the quests have had too much to drink, but you have saved the best until now.”
Jesus performed this first sign in Cana of Galilee. He displayed His glory and His disciples believed in Him.
After this, He went down to Capernaum, together with His mother, His brothers and His disciples, and they stayed there only a few days.
When it was almost time for the Jewish Passover, Jesus went up to Jerusalem
In the temple courts He found people selling cattle, sheep and doves, and others sitting at tables exchanging money
So He made a whip out of cords, and drove all from the temple courts, both sheep and cattle; He scattered the coins of the money changes and overturned their tables
To those who sold doves he said, “Get these out of here! Stop turning my Father’s house into a market”
His disciples rememberred that it is written: “Zeal for your house will consume me”
So the Jews replied to Him, “What sign of authority will You show us for doing these things?”
Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days”
They replied: “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and you are going to raise it in three days?”
But the temple He has spoken about was His body
And after He was raised from the dead, His disciples recalled what He had said. Then they believed the scripture and the words that Jesus had spoken
While He was in Jerusalem at the Passover Festival, many trusted in His name when they saw the signs He was doing
But Jesus would not entrust Himself to them since He knew them all
He did not need any testimony about mankind, for He knew what was in each person
